Wandering musicians, singers, story-tellers, and acrobats are a common and popular form of entertainment in the Archaic Period. Many also peddle small items. In later periods, the minstrel has been largely replaced by drama, though some itinerant theatrical groups continue parts of the minstrel tradition. Minstrelsy is a common profession among flyers, because they can travel easily and hate real work.
