Indarian

The World of Isles has a second moon, called “Indarian”. Indarian is so small as to appear a point, like a star, and shines by its own light. It shows no phases, and is never dimmed by eclipse. At night it provides as much light as a half moon. During the day it is visible, but not obvious, against the blue of the sky.

Indarian's orbit holds it fixed in the sky over a point on the equator, so that it is permanently visible over nearly half the planet. On one face of the World of Isles Indarian is a byword for constancy, and an indispensable aid to navigation. On the other it is never seen. From Gehennum, Indarian is see low in the western sky. From Elusion it appears directly overhead.
